first day

Well on the first day i did about the same as every one else i found some basic stuff on the internet i also read an article in tuesdays USA Today about how they are useing DNA to catch thieves the article stated that rate at which tieves are caught doubles in cases that use DNA to identify the suspect so the are starting to train police officers to identify and collect biosubstances which would contain DNA

Hi Don. . .
I wonder how the physical environment impacts the stability of evidence? What does temperature and humidity do? What about ultraviolet light?

Our prison systems are now collecting DNA samples as a mandatory condition of release. These Databases of DNA are be used to clear alot of "cold-cases." Law Enforcement agencies use the information to investigate and compare evidence to the samples ex-offenders are providing. I wonder how long it will be until we are all required to provide samples? What kind of impact do you think this might have on the criminal justice system as a whole?
